Anxiety and Agoraphobia

ECS solutions designed to help individuals with Anxiety and Agoraphobia maintain independence and control their home environment.

How Control-NI Helps With Anxiety and Agoraphobia

For a client with severe anxiety or agoraphobia, answering the front door is not a minor inconvenience — it is a trigger. The sound of the doorbell, the need to physically approach the door, the unpredictability of who is outside — all of it can precipitate a crisis that takes hours to recover from. Control-NI installs video intercom with remote door release. The client sees who is at the door on a screen from wherever they are in the house. They speak to the visitor without opening the door. They release the door remotely if they choose to. At no point do they need to physically approach the door or make an unplanned social interaction.
