Terms of Service

By engaging Control-NI for assistive technology services, you agree to these terms. Control-NI operates as a trade name of Jamieson Electrical Technologies Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland.

Our services include consultation, assessment, installation, training, and ongoing support for Environmental Control Systems and related assistive technology.

Pricing: All services are charged at £100/hour per technician, excluding VAT and equipment costs.

Estimates: Initial estimates are provided for guidance. Final costs may vary based on site conditions and requirements.

Access: Client must provide reasonable access to installation areas and utility connections.

Safety: All installations comply with relevant UK electrical and safety standards.

Payment Methods: We accept direct debit, standing order, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.

Payment Plans: Flexible payment plans available including 3-month (0% interest) and 6-month options.

Late Payments: Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at 8% per annum above Bank of England base rate.

Cancellation: Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment may incur charges.

Installation Warranty: 12-month warranty on installation workmanship.

Equipment Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to all equipment and devices.

Support: Technical support available during business hours. Emergency support available with additional charges.

Training: Initial user training included with installation. Additional training available at standard rates.

Control-NI's liability is limited to the value of services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from service provision.

Emergency response systems are supplementary to existing emergency services and should not replace primary emergency contact methods.

Professional insurance coverage maintained for all installation and service activities.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements. Technical data may be collected to improve service delivery and system performance.

Client consent is required for marketing communications. Service-related communications are sent based on legitimate business interests.

These terms are governed by Northern Ireland law. Any disputes will be resolved through Northern Ireland courts or alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients via email or post.
